A Sidewalk Obstruction permit is required if you are blocking any portion of a City of Cambridge sidewalk whether it be through full closure, partial closure, or walkthrough-staging.
Cambridge STEAM Initiative
The Cambridge STEAM Initiative is a joint effort of the City of Cambridge, Cambridge Public Schools, and the Cambridge Public Library. Harvard Square Super Crosswalk Improvements
On Thursday, October 1, the City of Cambridge's contractor, Newport Construction, will remove the existing concrete pavers and replace them with asphalt at the two Super Crosswalks in Harvard Square.
