Healthy Harvard Square Initiative was a series of community discussions conducted by the Economic Development Division during 2005 and 2006 about maintaining a Healthy Harvard Square.

Cambridge Announces Small Business Operations Grant
Applications are open for a new grant for Cambridge small businesses in need of help with operation costs, including but not limited to rent relief, payroll, or other operating expenses. Brick and mortar businesses can receive up to $15,000 and Home-based businesses can receive up to $7,500.
Aging with Mindfulness (Virtual)
This program, led by Zeenat Potia, will introduce and utilize mindfulness techniques to help us examine and regulate everyday life changes with a focus on aging. Participants will learn and benefit from the development of a mindfulness practice to enable responding to getting older in a calm, clear and thoughtful manner.
Presented in Partnership with Cambridge Insight Meditation Center (CIMC). Rooted in the Theravada Buddhist tradition,CIMC is a welcoming refuge and teaching Center for all who seek inner peace through the liberating practice of Insight Meditation (vipassana). Science Fiction & Fantasy Book Group (Main)
This Month's Read: The Three-Body Problem by Cixin Liu
Reading Interests: The group concentrates on science fiction and fantasy. An advanced reading schedule is published each fall. Example selections include: Neuromancer by William Gibson and The Lies of Locke Lamora by Scott Lynch.
Requirements: A love of speculative fiction and a desire to talk about books. The group is friendly and informal.
How to get the print book: Copies of the print book are set aside at the Main Library Question and Answer desk on the ground floor. Visit the Main Library at 449 Broadway during service hours and a staff member can help you check out a copy.
E-books and digital audiobooks are available on Libby or Hoopla.
We'll meet in the Rossi Room on the ground floor of the Main Library.
