As of August 2, the City of Cambridge will offer free COVID-19 testing three days per week, on Sundays from 2:00-6:00 p.m. at 50 Church Street, Mondays from 4:00-8:00 p.m. inside the Cambridgeside Mall, and Thursdays from 11:00 a.m.- 3:00 p.m. inside the CambridgeSide Mall. No appointment is needed.

Public Works Announces 2024 Commissioner Award Winners
As part of a national celebration of Public Works Week, the Department of Public Works (DPW) Commissioner Kathy Watkins and other City officials recently honored the recipients of the 2024 Commissioner’s Award for Outstanding Performance during a ceremony and cookout at the DPW yard. Cambridge Rolls Out Support for Building Owners as Emission Requirements Begin
After years of research, planning, and community engagement, the City of Cambridge is preparing for new greenhouse gas emissions reduction requirements for large buildings to take effect beginning January 1. The Office of Sustainability is reaching out to property owners covered under the Building Energy Use Disclosure Ordinance (BEUDO) to help them understand and prepare for the new requirements.
