Join the Collins Branch Library in collaboration with the Cambridge Climate Leaders Initiative for a monthly discussion of a climate-related topic. Each month the group will discuss a book on the topic at hand then hear about a related local program or initiative and how you can take action. Topic: Water in a Warming World Book: The High House by Jessie Greengrass Meetings will be held on the fourth Thursday of each month from 6-7:30 p.m. Copies of the book will be available at the Collins Branch during library hours. The “Getting to Net Zero” Task Force will advise the City Manager on ways to advance the goal of putting Cambridge on the trajectory towards becoming a “net zero community”, with focus on carbon emissions from building operations.

Cool Spots are public spaces where community members are encouraged to gather, connect, and cool off. In the first round of implementation completed in June 2025, four pilot locations for Cool Spots have been launched across the City.

TP+T has received a petition from a group of Cambridge residents requesting that we add "Parking by Permit Only" signs in the Cambridge Highlands. The City is conducting a survey to gauge neighborhood interest in this change.
