Advisory Committees
Advisory Committees are appointed by the City Manager to assist with the review of development proposals.
For Developers
The City actively works with developers to ensure that Traffic Demand Management incentives are in place.
Street Sign and Bench Dedication Information
Cambridge Residents may apply for Street Sign, or Public Bench Memorial Dedications by request through a City Councillor. Requests for Memorial Dedications are entered by the sponsoring Councillor as policy orders and are subject to approval at a Regular Meeting of the City Council.
Summer Reading: Live Animal Program with Mass Audubon (Main)
What better way to learn about wildlife than by observing them in person? Meet local wildlife ambassadors and discover the amazing adaptations that help them survive in the wild. Ask questions and learn what you can do to protect the wildlife of Cambridge. For children of all ages and their caregivers.
Funding for Summer Reading has been generously provided by the City of Cambridge, Cambridge Public Library Foundation and Friends of the Cambridge Public Library.
AI Training for Job Seekers - Four Workshop Series (Main)
The Cambridge Public Library and the African Bridge Network (ABN) are offering an AI training for people looking for jobs. This training will teach you how to use AI tools safely and effectively to help with your career.
Through the workshops, participants will learn strategies to:
Find better ways to look for jobs
Update and customize resumes for different positions
Practice and prepare for job interviews
Get help dealing with common challenges in today’s job market
This training is a four-part workshop series. Participants who complete all sessions may be eligible to receive a free refurbished laptop and wi-fi hotspot.
Sessions will be held in-person at the Main Library (449 Broadway) on the following Saturdays: March 14, March 21, March 28 and April 4. Each session will be held from 1pm to 4pm.
Space is limited. Applications will be reviewed as they are received and accepted until spots are filled or the deadline passes. Apply by March 1, 2026.
