Originally established in 1997 as the Neighborhood Sergeant Program, the Cambridge Police Neighborhood Engagement Program seeks to directly connect community members with the police supervisors who are the liaisons to their neighborhood.
More Bluebike Stations Near Affordable Housing
Install 3 new, Cambridge-owned, Bluebike Stations in neighborhoods that need more affordable and convenient access to bike sharing. This project will support economic inclusivity, helping everyone enjoy the many benefits of bike sharing.
Basketball Court Upgrade
Upgrade one outdoor basketball court with new flooring, pro basketball hoops (adjustable & single rimmed), and fresh paint.
Sheltered Bike Parking at the Main Library
The Main Library needs more bicycle parking. A glass pavilion, protecting bikes from the weather, landscaped with paths and trees, will be an attractive and functional addition to the library grounds.
Give me Shelter
Provide a secure and dry option for cyclists at the Cambridge Main Library by building a year-round covered bike shelter.
Light it Up
Reduce traffic fatalities by placing more Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons (RRFBs) at Cambridge’s busiest intersections.
