Google Drive Basics (Main)
Learn how to create folders and organize your files on Google Drive! Google Drive is your online file storage that is connected to your Google account. You will learn how to use Google Drive to manage your files and images. A Google (Gmail) account is required for the class. Please remember your email address and password, you will need them to sign in and practice during the class. Laptops will be provided for the class. To view and register for other Basic Tech Classes at the Library, please go to tinyurl.com/basictechclass. Registration is encouraged but not required.
Gaming: Unplugged (Main)
Are you suffering from chronic information overload? Feeling overwhelmed by too much technology in your life? Join us for an evening of old school board gaming! Relax and recharge your internal battery with one of our classic board games or bring your own personal fave. Adult Gaming: Unplugged takes place on the first Monday of every month from 6:00 -- 7:30 PM in the Rossi Room. Be there or be square! For the month of December, Adult Gaming: Unplugged will be held on Monday, December 8th, 2026. It will return to its first Monday of the month schedule starting January 5, 2026.
SERIES FULL: Puppetry Studio (Main)
We will adapt the tale “Baba Yaga” and perform our masterpiece for family and friends. Using mixed media, we will create our own puppets fit for a tiny stage. This four-week puppetry workshop is for youth ages 9-12. We will meet on March 6, 13, 20 and 27. No experience necessary! Registration is required. Participants must attend all sessions and have read a version of the tale before the first session. Stop by the Children’s Room to pick up a copy or call 617-349-4038. CANCELED AAPI Poetry for Teens (Valente)
This event has been canceled. Check with the Valente Branch next week to see if it will be rescheduled. Learn about poetry forms from Asia and the Pacific Islands, and write some yourself! No registration required, drop-in between 3:30-4:30pm. The City of Cambridge does not discriminate, including on the basis of disability. Street Sign and Bench Dedication Information
Cambridge Residents may apply for Street Sign, or Public Bench Memorial Dedications by request through a City Councillor. Requests for Memorial Dedications are entered by the sponsoring Councillor as policy orders and are subject to approval at a Regular Meeting of the City Council.
