Cambridge Public Health Department Urges Residents to Get a COVID-19 Booster Shot
Booster shots increase your protection against COVID-19, including variants. During the Omicron surge, receipt of a third (booster) dose has been highly effective at preventing COVID-19–associated hospitalizations, the need for mechanical ventilation, and death. These findings underscore the importance of receiving a booster dose of mRNA COVID-19 vaccine to prevent both moderately severe and severe COVID-19, especially while the Omicron variant is the predominant circulating variant.
Cambridge Community Benefits Advisory Committee Vacancy
The Community Benefits Advisory Committee is a volunteer group of community members who work together to make recommendations to the City Manager for the approval and awarding of grant agreements with nonprofit organizations for the provision of Community Benefits. Community Benefits may be programs or services provided by nonprofit organizations that directly benefit Cambridge residents.

Mount Auburn Street Traffic Calming
The project includes the construction of new sidewalk ramps and general roadway reconstruction, including curb extensions to enhance safety for pedestrians.
