Regional Roads and Air Travel
Given its central location in the urban core, Cambridge is near many regional roads, bridges, transit lines and the regional hub of air travel at Logan Airport. Consequently, the City participates in transportation planning and projects related to many of these facilties.

Weights and Measures
The Department of Weights and Measures enforces all laws, ordinances and regulations relating to the accuracy of weight and measuring devices used by local businesses.
Cambridge Cemetery
The Cemetery Division is responsible for grave site preparation, burial services, landscaping, maintenance and customer service at the City's 66-acre site on Coolidge Avenue.
Rise Up Cambridge Gives Relief to Families
Through Rise Up, Cambridge became the first city in the nation to introduce a non-lottery program to provide direct cash assistance to all eligible families. Ultimately, the City was focused helping families with children to meet their basic needs.
Taylor Square Fire Station Improvement Project
Beginning Spring 2019 and lasting for approximately 12 months, several improvements will be taking place at the Taylor Square Fire Station. Work will be taking place on the interior and exterior of the building. See below for project updates, timeline and additional info.
Hackney License
Hackney Licenses are issued by the Cambridge License Commission and are governed by the Special Acts 1922 ch. 95 and Cambridge Regulations & Ordinances, ch. 5.20.
