Are you suffering from chronic information overload? Feeling overwhelmed by too much technology in your life? Join us for an evening of old school board gaming! Relax and recharge your internal battery with one of our classic board games or bring your own personal fave. Adult Gaming: Unplugged takes place on the first Monday of the month from 6:00 -- 7:30 PM in the Rossi Room. Be there or be square! For the month of April, Adult Gaming: Unplugged will be held on Monday, April 9th, 2026. It will return to its first Monday of the month schedule on May 4th (Star Wars Day!) 2026.

Join the Cambridge Public Library in celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month by welcoming Alejandro Varela, the author of three books of fiction, including The Town of Babylon, which was nominated for a National Book Award, and Middle Spoon, published just this September. Middle Spoon, which Publisher's Weekly called a "refreshingly candid tale of modern love," follows a married middle-aged gay man as he struggles to move on from a break-up with his boyfriend. After reading from his work, Varela will sit in conversation with Ursula Villarreal-Moura, the author of Like Happiness. An audience Q&A and book signing will follow. Registration is required.

Parents’ Choice Award winner Motoko regales families (ages 5 and up) with delightful folktales from her native Japan, combined with hands-on origami activities. Motoko’s step-by-step instructions make the ancient Japanese art fun and accessible. No registration is required. Please call (617) 349-4019 for details.
