Early voting is an opportunity to vote before Election Day. Any registered voter in Cambridge can vote during the early voting period, from Saturday, October 22, 2022 through Friday, November 4, 2022. Avoid contact with the Alewife Brook in Cambridge due to potential harmful bacteria and other pollutants. Warning in effect until 5 a.m., January 28, 2023. People and pets should avoid contact with the Alewife Brook and parts of the Mystic River from January 26-28 due to the release of stormwater mixed with sewage into the brook.
Free COVID-19 Rapid Tests from the Federal Government
Beginning Monday, September 25, every U.S. household can place an order to receive four free COVID-19 rapid tests delivered directly to their home by mail. To order tests, visit covidtests.gov. Cambridge residents can also pick up free rapid tests from the Cambridge Public Health Department at 119 Windsor Street while supplies last.
