Loeb Associate Professor of the Social Sciences at Harvard University and Co-director of the Institute on Policing, Incarceration, and Public Safety at the Hutchins Center for African and African American Research. He is the author of Shattered Dreams, Infinite Hope: A Tragic Vision of the Civil Rights Movement and is coeditor, with Tommie Shelby, of To Shape a New World: Essays on the Political Philosophy of Martin Luther King, Jr. and editor of Fifty Years Since MLK. Cultural nonprofits active in Cambridge now have a little more time to turn in their applications for the Create Cambridge: Arts Nonprofit Recovery Grant, which offers COVID-19 Recovery Grants ranging from $6,000 to $30,000.

This initiative aims to be more inclusive to the LGBTQ+ community, particularly transgender, gender non-conforming, or nonbinary individuals.

Through this project, we will add separated bike lanes, improve existing crosswalks, make changes to parking and loading, and evaluate changes to bus stop locations on Hampshire Street between Inman Square and Broadway.
