Carrie plays original whimsical songs with the assistance of their players to bring a rocking live show to the people, bringing messages of acceptance and identity in a fun and jubilant way. Cambridge NITES aims to support the nightlife and entertainment industry in Cambridge. Grants support nightlife businesses in producing free, outdoor events around the city.
Summer Reading: Drop-In Button Making Workshop (Boudreau)
Come try your hand at making a beautiful pin or magnet! Draw your own design, and learn to use our button making machine. Each attendee will have the opportunity to make one or two printed designs as well.
This event is recommended for school-age children. No registration necessary - just drop in anytime during the event (while supplies last).
Apply for a Short Term / Special Event Sidewalk Business Use Permit
A temporary business use sidewalk obstruction permit is required if you are a plan to temporally obstruct a City of Cambridge sidewalk. Please apply for an Annual Sidewalk Obstruction Permit if you plan to use an “A” framed sign, sandwich board, display merchandise, temporary banner or use tables and chairs on a sidewalk in the public way.
