Due to the popularity of Sifu Diaz's classes, we expect participants to attend all sessions and participation in this program will be decided by lottery. Join us in this twelve-week Tai Chi Paradigm practice, which focuses on the mind and body connection. Tai Chi is a fluid sequence of movements choreographed in a low impact routine. To enter the lottery, please register for the waitlist below. This waitlist will constitute the pool from which 15 names will be drawn randomly. Registration will open Friday, August 1 at 9AM and close Friday, August 15 at 5PM. Participants selected will be notified on Wednesday, August 20. The Office of Sustainability (OoS) was created in July 2024 to institutionalize climate actions across all City departments. Cambridge’s first Chief Climate Officer began work in October 2024. The OoS is built on nearly two decades of efforts by multiple departments to reduce Cambridge's reliance on fossil fuels and prepare for extreme weather.

These residents play a crucial role in empowering their neighbors to understand climate change and prepare for its local impacts, strengthening community resilience and fostering mutual support. The four-month program – running from September to December 2025 – includes education, resources, and funding for Leaders who host conversations in their neighborhoods to share information about City climate goals and projects.

A community meeting has been scheduled for Wednesday, July 8 from 6:30-8 p.m. at the Senior Center to discuss an early morning shooting that took place on July 4 that resulted in Xavier Bautista, a 32-year-old Cambridge resident, being tragically killed in the area of Broadway and Norfolk Street.

In this hands-on workshop, you'll learn what exactly a zine is and what it has to do with queer and trans liberation. Then, you will learn how to make your very own, very queer zine! To get some context, we will take a brief look at the history of queer and trans zines, as well as the present-day zine scene. Then you will learn how to fold one sheet of paper into an eight page zine that is easy to make copies of for distribution. We'll also explore and brainstorm various ways that you can get your zine to the people in the world who are interested in reading, viewing, studying, and/or adoring it (these people exist!). Registration required.
