We will walk on uneven terrain, down hills, and over roots. The meeting location for this walk will be at the Fresh Pond Ranger Station at 250 Fresh Pond Parkway. Temporary parking passes can be provided on request. Registration is required. This event can only accommodate a certain number of participants. One registration is good for one person. Cambridge Works, the City's transitional jobs program, serves Cambridge residents between the ages of 18-35 who have difficulty finding full-time jobs due to limited work experience, a gap in their work history, legal challenges, or personal issues. Cambridge Works is offered twice a year, in the spring and fall.

Public Hearing of the Half Crown-Marsh Neighborhood Conservation District Commission in order to review applications to alter designated properties and other matters under the provisions of Chapter 2.78 of the Code of the City of Cambridge and the order establishing the district. The Commission has a monthly meeting calendar, though meetings may be cancelled if no applications are received.

on January 23, 2023, the City 01 Cambridge adopted the commonwealth 01 Massachusetts's new Municipal Opt-in Specialized Stretch Energy Code, ioining the communities 01 Brookline and Watertown. The code, which goes into ellect in Cambridge on July 1, 2023, is to support the City's Net zero goals.

Learn how to create beautiful and colorful acrylic paintings! In this class you will be introduced to painting with acrylic, including techniques in color mixing, observational painting, and composition. At your own pace you will learn how to paint still lifes using acrylic paint in a relaxed and welcoming environment. This class will cover wet on wet and wet and dry brush techniques, sgraffito/combing, overlays/glazing, gel mediums, pattern making, and masking. You will come away from this class with beautiful paintings of your own and a greater understanding and appreciation for the medium of acrylic painting. This class is suitable for beginners and can be adjusted for all levels of experience. Registration is Required.
