Join the Council on Aging and Community Development Department this spring for leisurely group rides and bike skills workshops. These opportunities are offered through the Healthy Aging and Cycling series and are open to Cambridge residents ages 60 and older.

Governor Charlie Baker will file legislation to extend certain emergency measures currently in place via executive orders that are set to expire on June 15 when the State of Emergency will be rescinded. Most restrictions, including limitations placed on businesses, will be rescinded effective May 29 as Massachusetts nears the goal of vaccinating four million residents.

The City of Cambridge announced that it is extending its successful program for feeding homeless residents with meals provided by local food establishments through December 31, 2020. In March, the City launched an innovative project to contract with local restaurants to provide food to the City’s homeless community during the COVID-19 public health crisis. To date, over 70,000 meals have been provided and more than 2,800 meals are now being delivered each week to shelters across the City.
