Kids' Books for Everyone (O'Neill)
People of all ages who enjoy children's books can read and discuss together. We encourage families to participate along with their children. Food will be provided. It covers Sox history from the Royal Rooters, who launched Red Sox Nation, to Babe Ruth to Ted Williams to The Impossible Dream Season of 1967 to Lynn, Rice and '75 to the heartbreak of 1986 all the way to the four World Series championships and beyond. There will be trivia questions and Q&A.

After more than 30 years of dedicated service to the Cambridge Police Department, Commissioner Christine Elow has announced her retirement. With Commissioner Elow’s retirement, Superintendent Pauline Wells has been named Acting Police Commissioner. She joined the Police Department in 1993 and has most recently served as Superintendent of Operations.
CDC Recommends COVID-19 Vaccines for Young Children
CDC Director Rochelle P. Walensky, M.D., M.P.H., endorsed the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices’ (ACIP) recommendation that all children 6 months through 5 years of age should receive a COVID-19 vaccine. This expands eligibility for vaccination to nearly 20 million additional children and means that all Americans ages 6 months and older are now eligible for vaccination.

CDC Director Rochelle P. Walensky, M.D., M.P.H., endorsed the CDC Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices’ (ACIP) recommendation for a booster shot of COVID-19 vaccines in certain populations. The Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) authorization and CDC’s recommendation for use are important steps forward as we work to stay ahead of the virus and keep Americans safe.
