We are seeking to fill vacancies for members and alternate members on the Cambridge Historical Commission, Avon Hill Neighborhood Conservation District (NCD) Commission, Half Crown-Marsh NCD Commission, and the Mid Cambridge NCD Commission.

The Affordable Housing Trust's August 2025 meeting is cancelled. The next CAHT meeting is currently scheduled for September 25th, 2025 at 4 p.m (subject to change). The opening session will orient Assembly members to their civic role and responsibilities, establish the framework for deliberations, and provide foundational information on public safety, surveillance technologies, privacy, civil liberties, and public trust.

On Thursday, May 15th the Cambridge Police hosted our Community Stakeholders Event at The Foundry on Rogers St. Organized by the Family & Social Justice Section, this event is an opportunity for various civic groups, community members and business leaders to come together in a discussion of various topics related to our local criminal justice system.

Join us for a beginner-friendly counted cross stitch class for adults at O'Neill! Learn the basics of cross stitching while working on a cute raccoon pattern. All materials provided – no experience needed! You'll leave with materials and a pattern to finish your cross stitch piece after class. Registration required.

Repairing Garment Closures will focus on reattaching and adding simple closures like buttons, snaps, and hooks & eyes to clothing. Using just a needle and thread, participants will learn how to replace different types of buttons, including shirt and coat buttons, or add invisible snaps to help their garments lie on the body better. Please note that this workshop will not cover zipper repairs. Suitable for beginners with little or no sewing experience.

Shop our community swap for free spooky season costumes for all ages! Drop gently worn costumes off at the O'Neill Branch @ 70 Rindge Avenue from Monday September 28-Friday October 2. Items must be clean and delivered to a staff member during open hours. No shoes or pretend weapons please.
