Install Electric Vehicle (EV) charging stations at 3 locations with 10 charging heads. EV adoption is growing steadily as measured by EV charging station data collected by the city. This proposal responds to a strong demand from residents who have indicated a need for more publicly available EV chargers.

Join us for a lively discussion of a great early middle grade book in person at the Main Library! Snacks will be provided. For ages 7-9 and a caregiver. This month’s book is Ra the Mighty Cat Detective by Amy Butler Greenfield. Can a lazy cat and a dung-obsessed beetle really crack a mystery? Ra relishes his role as the Pharaoh's beloved—and spoiled—cat. So when an amulet goes missing from the palace, Ra plans to keep enjoying his snacks and nap in the sun. But Ra's friend Khepri, a wise and industrious scarab beetle, insists on investigating in order to save the young servant girl who has been framed for the crime. Both caregiver and child should read the book before the meeting, copies are available behind the Children’s Desk. Registration is required — only one registration is needed per family. Many Cambridge residents are now eligible for booster shots, including children age 12 and older. The Massachusetts Department of Public Health reported this week that 38% of Cambridge residents have received a booster. With the Omicron variant widely circulating, the Cambridge Public Health Department urges you to get this additional dose. In the face of increasing cases in the community, the additional protection provided by the booster is critical to stopping the spread of COVID-19.

Apply to the Fuel Assistance Program, which helps low-income residents pay their winter heating bills from November 1 - April 30.
