The Cambridge Building Custom Energy Retrofit Program, a partnership of the City and Eversource, aims to make large buildings (over 25,000 square feet or over 50 units) more energy efficient by connecting building owners with resources.

The CLC offers three types of English classes in North Cambridge: Beginner conversation classes for older adults, English Class for Parents with Young Children, low to intermediate-level English classes at the CLC's North Cambridge location.

We invite children and their caregivers for 20-25 minutes of stories and songs. Recommended for children ages 3-5 and their caregivers. This program can accommodate 45 people. Tickets are available on a first come, first served basis on the day of the program. The entire party must be present to receive a ticket. This program starts promptly. Body-worn cameras serve as useful tools for recording evidence, as well as help to ensure that there is an additional layer of professionalism, transparency and accountability by documenting officer performance and interactions with the public.

In order to increase the long-term survival of newly planted trees, Public Works has improved pre-planting soil preparation, supervision of the planting process, and post-planting watering and other aftercare.

This event has been moved to the Learning Lab at the Main Library, located at 449 Broadway, due to the temporary closing of the Valente Branch. Join us for an English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) class! This class will be taught at a beginner level. No testing is needed. Everyone is welcome. Learn about the local tradition of turning maple sap into maple syrup with Land's Sake Farm! Enjoy a maple sugaring themed story time, touch and explore the tools we use to make maple syrup, and try using hand drills to tap a demonstration log. This program is recommended for children ages 4 and up. Children under the age of 7 must be accompanied by an adult. Registration is required - please register only the children who will be attending the program.
