We meet at Lamplighter Brewing Co., 284 Broadway, in the back taproom. This month we’ll read Women's Hotel by Daniel M. Lavery. Copies of the book are available at the Main Library in Cambridge, at 449 Broadway. The e-book and digital audiobook can be borrowed through the Libby app. We’ll gather in the Lamplighter back taproom to discuss the book, what we learned from it, what we found ourselves touched by, and all other thoughts. The City of Cambridge last night became the first known city in the country to mandate non-residential buildings to reduce their greenhouse gas emissions with a net zero goal by 2035 for large buildings and 2050 for mid-size buildings.

In advance of the Independence Day holiday, the City of Cambridge wants to remind the community that fireworks are illegal, dangerous, and can cause trauma for residents.

Many of our schools, hospitals and senior living facilities are located on busy streets. This project will enable the city to install comprehensive Complete Streets treatments at one or more intersections around these facilities to improve pedestrian safety in Cambridge

Learn how to visually capture your own memoir or fictional creation in a short graphic novel through story planning, character development, and techniques for capturing emotions, motion, and time. Materials provided and no prior art or author experience needed! Registration is required, and is attached to the 1/13 first session. This program is for ages 10-18.
