Creatively Expanding the Urban Forest
In 2019, the City of Cambridge completed its Urban Forestry Master Plan. Since, the city has rebranded and taken action to upkeep the Urban Forestry Master Plan through programs such as Forest Friends and Water by Bike.
Elm and Hampshire Plaza
A comprehensive renovation for Elm and Hampshire Plaza in the Wellington-Harrington neighborhood was completed in 2015.
Summer Reading: Seed, Plant and Garden Swap (O'Neill)
Swap extra seeds, plants or harvested items from your garden at the Library (outdoors)! If you cannot bring anything you may still come to get supplies and enjoy activities.
This program is open to people of all ages! No registration is required. In case of rain or bad weather this program will be inside the O'Neill Branch.
Healthy Trees for a Healthy Cambridge
Street trees cool the city, absorb pollution, and make our neighborhoods more livable! Vote to plant 100 new trees & build tree wells in the areas that need them most, along with educational signage so you can learn about your “green neighbors."
