November is International Games Month. Drop-in to play board and card games with neighbors, friends and family. Recommended for children ages 5 and up and their caregivers.

You can use our 1-inch button maker, 2.5 inch button maker, 3-D Doodle pens, or Janome sewing machines. The Library will provide basic supplies. *This month you are invited to join in a community sewing circle to help create a Moth Banner. Learn more here: https://cambridgepl.libcal.com/event/16984382 This drop-in program is for people who feel comfortable using these machines on their own. The Library will not provide instruction. Anyone wishing to use the sewing machines must have completed a Sewing 101 training through the Library. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

In January, the state launched several programs to make it easier for children, teens, and adults to get help for mental health conditions and substance use disorders.

The City of Cambridge will conduct overnight paving in Central Square beginning Sunday, August 23 at 8 p.m. Work is expected to continue until approximately 4 a.m. on Monday, August 24
