Romance Book Group (Main)
This month's book: A Merry Little Meet Cute by Julie Murphy and Sierra Simone Audience: Teens and Adults. If you read romance (or want to start), this group is for you! Reading Interests: This group will explore the burgeoning genre of contemporary romance. Example selections include: Honey and Spice by Bolu Babalola and Mistakes Were Made by Meryl Wilsner. How to get the print book: Copies of the print book are set aside at the Main Library Q&A Desk on the ground floor. Visit the Main Library at 449 Broadway during service hours and a staff member can help you check out a copy. How to get the e-book or digital audiobook: This month’s book is available as an e-book and digital audiobook through Libby and Hoopla. Kids' Books for Everyone (O'Neill)
People of all ages who enjoy children's books can read and discuss together. Food will be provided. In March we will read and discuss A Rover's Story by Jasmine Warga. Copies of the book will be available at the O'Neill Branch. This book group will meet in person at the O'Neill Branch Library. Please register below.
Gund Kwok Asian Women's Lion Dance Troupe (Main)
Gund Kwok is the first all Asian and all female lion dance troupe in the country. They will present an interactive story about the origins and significance of the lion dance, followed by a lion dance performance that will include the traditional "eating of the greens" and the unrolling of good luck banners. After the performance, the audience will be invited to try on the lion heads and take photos. Recommended for children of all ages and their caregivers. Bring the whole family for a unforgettable experience!
Land's Sake Farm: Reading with Rabbits (Valente)
Learn about the rabbits raised at Land’s Sake. This program includes a rabbit-themed story time, learning about rabbit behavior and anatomy, and a rabbit themed game. The highlight of the program is the Bunny Circle, where youth are able to touch and interact with live rabbits. This program is recommended for children ages 4 and up. Children under the age of 7 must be accompanied by an adult. Registration is required - please register the total number of children who will be in your group.
Summer Reading: Arthropod Petting Zoo (Collins)
The Arthropod Petting Zoo is a hands-on, show-and-tell introduction to entomology featuring real live insects and arthropods! While having fun and interacting with genuine crawling critters, kids learn about biology, taxonomy, adaptations and scientific thinking that real scientists use in the field. Recommended for children ages 3-12 and their caregivers. Funding for Summer Reading has been generously provided by the City of Cambridge, Cambridge Public Library Foundation, Friends of the Cambridge Public Library and the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners.

Get in the winter spirit with Pop Up Art School! Create a cozy winter scene that glows with warmth and creativity! In this mixed-media art lesson you'll craft a charming snowy landscape featuring a glowing paper house nestled among wooly trees. A perfect display during those cold, dark months of winter. All supplies will be provided.
