Join the Collins Branch Library in collaboration with the Cambridge Climate Leaders Initiative for a monthly discussion of a climate-related topic. Each month the group will discuss a book on the topic at hand then hear about a related local program or initiative and how you can take action. Topic: Finding Hope Together Book: The Book of Hope: A Survival Guide for Trying Times by Jane Goodall and Douglas Abrams Registration is encouraged, but not required. We will adapt the tale "The Tortoise and the Hare" and perform our masterpiece for family and friends. Using a ChompSaw (a kid-safe power tool), participants will safely cut cardboard to create shadow puppets. This four-week puppetry workshop is for youth ages 7-10. We will meet on March 5, 12, 19 and 26. Registration is required. Participants much attend all sessions and have read a version of the tale before the first session.
