Youth ages 10-16 are welcome to join for four sessions of cooperative role-play and storytelling as we build out skills playing the table-top game DnD. The first session will include a character-building introduction followed by play continued into the next four sessions. No prior DnD experience is required, and experienced players are also welcome to join. Registration is attached to the first DnD session, 12/2. Please plan to attend all sessions and email msullivan@cambridgema.gov in case of absence. The City of Cambridge does not discriminate, including on the basis of disability. The Affordable Housing Trust will hold its monthly meeting in-person and via Zoom webinar. July's meeting (previously scheduled for July 24) has been postponed to July 31, 2025 at 4 p.m. It will be held at City Hall, 795 Massachusetts Ave, in the Ackerman Room. Learn the basics of beaded jewelry making and the difference between semi-precious stones and precious stones. Participants will keep all pieces they make. This will be an in-person program at the Central Branch in the Lewis Room. Space is limited to 10 participants. Led by Zangar Freeman.

The Cambridge Police Department’s Crime Analysis Unit has identified an uptick in housebreaks in recent months. Over the past 2-3 months, there has been an increase in housebreak activity in The Port and Mid-Cambridge neighborhoods. Entry has been through unlocked doors and windows. Targeted items include electronics, jewelry, and cash.

Nine Cambridge cultural organizations have been awarded $81,000 in Organizational Investment Grants by Cambridge Arts and the City of Cambridge. The funding program provides $9,000 grants to each nonprofit to support operational costs, sustainability, and resiliency for local cultural organizations that benefit Cambridge residents.
