Apply for an Annual Sidewalk Business Use Permit
A business use sidewalk obstruction permit is required if you are a business in the City of Cambridge and want to use an “A” framed sign, sandwich board, display merchandise, temporary banner or use tables and chairs on a sidewalk in the public way.
Equipment and Studio (Main)
During this reservation period, anyone who has completed Hive training and is certified to use equipment or studio(s) can reserve Hive equipment or studio spaces. Staff will assist participants as they are able.
New makers are also welcome to come in during open shop for a 10min drop in video safety training!

Securing housing but have a criminal record
Through the Cambridge Second Chance Program, members of the Cambridge Police Department’s Clinical Support Unit work with eligible residents and various partners through the Cambridge Community Court to seal their statutorily-eligible CORI (criminal offender record information) in order to help support long-term, unhoused residents who have not been able to secure housing due to their criminal records.
Maple Ave Reconstruction Project
Maple Ave from Broadway to Cambridge St. is scheduled for reconstruction in 2024 as part of the City's Five Year Plan for Sidewalk and Street Reconstruction.

Inman Street from Hampshire Street to Broadway is scheduled for reconstruction in 2026 as part of the City’s Five Year Plan for Street and Sidewalk Reconstruction

Wellness Art Wednesday: Fall Leaves Watercolor (Main)
Fall season is in the air, here at the Library! This art class will be a hybrid of indoor and outdoor time. Allowing you to get up close with the trees and leaves to take artistic observations of your surroundings. All supplies will be provided but please bring any protective gear (long sleeves and sweaters) in the event of slightly cold weather.
