The City of Cambridge Food Truck Program is designed to provide entrepreneurial opportunities for food truck operators, provide more diverse food options in targeted areas, and bring additional street level amenities to Cambridge public spaces.
Redefining Community Engagement
In FY22, the Community Development Department (CDD) established a Community Engagement Advisory Group for staff to share best practices and reflect on strategies to make engagement more inclusive and equitable. This Group developed a handbook on inclusive and equitable engagement best practices which will be published in September 2022. The handbook, which uses an anti-racism and equity lens to approach planning, implementation, and reflection of community engagement strategies, will be used to increase participation in public processes and programs.
New Resident Guide
The Commission on Immigrant Rights and Citizenship (CIRC) created a New Resident Guide to serve as a resource for new arrivals in Cambridge. This overview provides information on key, Cambridge-specific providers in the service areas most commonly needed by new immigrants.

CPD Marks Autism Acceptance Month During April
As we move on from April which is widely recognized as Autism Acceptance Month the Cambridge Police Department wanted to highlight some of what we do to support those living with Autism in our community.
Traffic Board
Hold a public hearing upon petition of 50 registered voters relative to any rule or regulation proposed to be adopted, altered or repealed and not yet in effect and approve or disapprove the proposed action.
Arts & Economic Impact
The City of Cambridge, in partnership with Americans for the Arts, is undergoing a study to understand the economic impact of the local arts and cultural programming. More information regarding the survey efforts to come.
