He has successfully defended and tried multiple complex healthcare fraud, political corruption, and white-collar crime cases in federal court, including those in the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts and the Eastern District of New York.
Committee on Public Planting Vacancy
The Committee on Public Planting is charged with the responsibility of promoting and improving the quality and diversity of plantings throughout all areas of Cambridge. This includes reviewing planting plans for new public work in the city; advising the city on effective maintenance of public plantings; supporting the role of the Urban Forestry Division; and encouraging interest in public plantings in all neighborhoods.
Implementation of the City's Urban Forestry Master Plan is improving Cambridge's tree canopy
The City is pleased to release the 2020 Canopy Assessment completed by the University of Vermont, which shows that the implementation of the Urban Forestry Master Plan is improving our tree canopy. Building canopy is a slow and steady race, but we are seeing substantive progress. The investments in tree plantings and maintenance combined with tree preservation initiatives are reversing the loss of tree canopy.
