Are you looking for fun stuff to do when boredom strikes? Take home a packet of simple activities such as mazes, word searches and drawing prompts. Find ideas for fun requiring only a few things and lots of imagination. Each packet contains a few pages sourced from Anorak Magazine, the ‘happy mag for kids’ designed to inspire and encourage children to tap into their natural creativity and learn while having fun. Recommended for children ages 6-12, available while supplies last.

Drop in the Central Square Branch’s Lewis Room for extra space to study and hang out. Supplies will be provided to color, do puzzles, and play games. No registration required! Due to the temporary closure of the O'Neill Branch, this month's story time will happen at the Peabody School at 70 Rindge Ave. Please enter the building on the back side through Door 11. Put on your pajamas and come to listen to stories, read with your children, and enjoy a snack before bed! This program is recommended for children of all ages and their caregivers. This summer Pajama Story Time will happen outside in the playground area at the Fresh Pond Apartments. In case of bad weather, the story time will happen inside the Community Room of 362 Rindge Ave. Pajama Story Time is presented by the Cambridge Public Library and the Center for Families.
