Reading Interests: The group concentrates on fiction and narrative nonfiction. Some past selections include: Hamnet by Maggie O'Farrell, Detransition, Baby by Torrey Peters, and Beautiful Country: A Memoir by Qian Julie Wang.
How to get the print book: Copies of the print book are set aside at the Main Library. Visit the Main Library Q&A Desk at 449 Broadway during service hours and a staff member can help you check out a copy.
How to get the e-book or digital audiobook: This month’s book is available as an e-book through OverDrive or the Libby app. The digital audiobook is available through Hoopla.

Wellness for Older Adults: Tai Chi Paradigm - Intermediate (Main)
Due to the popularity of Sifu Diaz's classes, we expect participants to attend all sessions and participation in this program will be decided by lottery.
Join us in this twelve-week Tai Chi Paradigm practice, which focuses on the mind and body connection. Tai Chi is a fluid sequence of movements choreographed in a low impact routine.
This is an in-person event at the Main Library.
To enter the lottery, please register for the waitlist below. This waitlist will constitute the pool from which 15 names will be drawn randomly.
Registration will open Wednesday, July 22 at 9 am and close Wednesday, August 12 at 5PM. Participants selected will be notified on Friday, August 14.
Priority will be given to those who were not selected for the spring program.
