Kamishibai (paper theater) is a traditional form of Japanese street theater and storytelling where author illustrator Yumi Izuyama uses her original artwork to tell folktales from around the world, bringing them to life for families with young children. The City of Cambridge will renovate Rafferty Park in the Cambridge Highlands neighborhood. The design and community engagement process will begin in early 2024, and construction is anticipated to begin in 2025.

Beginning the week of June 8, weather permitting, the City’s contractor, Newport Construction, will be performing roadway milling (grinding) and paving operations to enhance the road conditions on several sections of street around the City.
