Are you curious about all the science, technology, engineering, art and math that exists in the world around you? Join more than 30 local STEAM providers for a fun-filled evening with exciting STEAM activities (and free pizza!).

As part of the initiative, the City is encouraging residents to introduce themselves and engage with their neighbors. Residents can submit their events to the online Meet Your Neighbors Day map. Hosts are only limited by their imagination!

Through this program, Electrify Cambridge will provide no-cost advising by technical specialists on all measures that can electrify a home or residential building. Those measures include heat pumps, solar panels, weatherization, water heaters, induction stoves, electric vehicle chargers, and more. Electrify Cambridge specialists will also help residents tap into all available state and federal incentives.

The training exercise will be held at the Cambridge Health Alliance East Cambridge Care Center on 163 Gore Street.

DPW staff have replaced the Forest Friends Interactive map with a new ArcGIS Online solution.

The Cambridge Public Library will host the 7th annual Margret and H.A. Rey Curious George Lecture on Wednesday, March 19.

July is Disability Pride Month. In honor of Disability Pride Month, Rachel Tanenhaus, ADA Coordinator for the City of Cambridge and Executive Director of the Cambridge Commission for People with Disabilities, reflects on what disability pride means to her.

As the Commonwealth ends the COVID-19 State of Emergency on June 15th, the City of Cambridge will resume permitting for special events and the use of City parks.

August Selections: Tomato Love, You Say Tomato, & Simply Tomato Join friends and neighbors for a potluck! Try a recipe and bring your results or thoughts to share and discuss with other cooks. All experience levels welcome. No need to bring a dish to join. Books will be available for pick up at the Boudreau and Collins Branches during library hours.
