Please join us! In celebration of Mental Health Awareness Month, the Cambridge Public Health
Department in collaboration with the Community Safety Department, the Cambridge Public
Library and Find It Cambridge will be sponsoring a panel discussion and tabling event. Come
learn from our panel of local mental health providers as they discuss how to access support for
yourself or a loved one and what to expect when reaching out.
The event will take place on May 19th, 6-8pm at the Cambridge Public Library, main branch.
Light refreshments and childcare will be provided. Registration requested (required for

Community Safety Department Begins Responding to Needle Pickup Calls
Starting this week, the Cambridge Community Safety Department’s CARE (Community Assistance Response and Engagement) Team began responding to needle pickup calls in public spaces across Cambridge. Needle pickup calls are the first call types that the CARE Team is being dispatched to.

The COVID-19 pandemic has been a uniquely stressful time for almost everyone. Depression and anxiety are a normal response to stress. The MassSupport Network was established to provide free support services to people of all ages living in Massachusetts. The program is a partnership of the Massachusetts Department of Mental Health and Riverside Community Care.
Covid Relief Grants Up To $15,000 For Creative Businesses
If you are a creative brick-and-mortar business, you can receive up to $15,000 in reimbursement for payroll, commercial rent/mortgage, equipment, or other costs. Artists and creatives with home-based businesses can receive up to $7,500 for payroll or operating/equipment costs.
