"La Musica De La Chirimia" is a bilingual retelling of a Guatemalan folktale. It revolves around the chirimia, a musical instrument, and the importance of its sound. 

Join us for a bilingual family concert in English and Spanish. Singing, dancing and tons of fun guaranteed! Recommended for children of all ages and their caregivers. Meet, hear, touch and learn about orchestral instruments with the Boston Music Project! Recommended for ages 0-12 and their caregivers. Families with elementary school age children join us for hands-on activities focused on Science, Technology, Arts, Engineering, and Math. Adults and children will learn and play together! This month we will learn about pollinators with Cambridge Wildlife Arts. We will plant seeds and make bumblebee puppets! This program is a part of the CPL Nature Club.

The Danehy Improvement Plan project is a collaboration between the Department of Public Works, the Department of Human Service Programs Recreation Division, and the Community Development Department. The goal is to develop a shared vision of the future of Danehy Park that reflects the community’s needs and values. The final report will provide a roadmap that guides future park improvements for the next 10-15 years.
