The Community Learning Center’s Bridge to College Program prepares students to take college level classes. Participants earn college credits and attend a weekly advising class that helps them prepare to apply.

Renew Cambridge Parking Permits Online Starting December 1, 2023

COVID-19, flu, and RSV are respiratory viruses that can cause severe disease resulting in hospitalization and sometimes death. Everyone 6 months and older should get a seasonal flu vaccine and an updated COVID-19 vaccine to protect against infection, serious illness, and hospitalization. COVID-19 vaccination can also reduce the risk of Long COVID.

It is now easier and cheaper to host block parties in Cambridge. The City is eliminating the block party permit fee, providing free party games, and offering $200 cash awards (limited supply) to support celebrations. Block party potlucks and games bring neighbors together for fun, but the parties also help build more connected, resilient neighborhoods.

It's almost the new year – and that means it’s time to renew your Cambridge parking permit! Starting December 1, 2025, the online permit renewal process opens.

During National Higher Education Month, the Community Learning Center shares one student's experence with the Bridge to College program.

To ensure the safety of the public and City staff, in-person appointments at City buildings, including contactless holds pick-up at the Cambridge Public Library, will continue to be suspended until at least Monday, February 1, 2021 as well. While City buildings will remain closed to the public, City offices will be open, and many City services can be accessed online or over the telephone.
