Climate Action Book Club (Collins)
Join the Collins Branch Library in collaboration with the Cambridge Climate Leaders Initiative for a monthly discussion of a climate-related topic. Each month the group will discuss a book on the topic at hand then hear about a related local program or initiative and how you can take action.
Topic: Trees and Climate Resilience
Book: Twelve Trees: The Deep Roots of Our Future by Daniel Lewis.
Meetings will be held on the second Thursday of each month from 6-7:30 p.m. Copies of the book will be available at the Collins Branch during library hours.

Trick or Treat on City Hall Lawn
Put on your best costume and join the Mayor’s Office, the City Manager’s Office, Cambridge Police, Cambridge Fire, and other City Departments for candy, pumpkin painting, other arts and crafts, and more Halloween Fun. Feel free to attend for as long as you'd like and then continue trick-or-treating around the neighborhood.

Exchange your surplus paint, fabric, fiber, and other supplies with fellow crafters and artists in the community!
Donations accepted at the Main Library Q&A desk starting January 5, 2026.
