This month's selection: How I Won a Nobel Prize by Julius Taranto. While Collins is closed for construction, this book group will meet virtually and in person at the Boudreau Branch. Please register below if you would like to attend via Zoom. A Zoom link will be sent to all registered participants one hour before the event. Registration is encouraged, but not required. This terrain model is useful as a visual reference for the terrain surface as it relates to buildings, roads and sidewalks. It can be used as a setting and an initial condition for detailed design studies.

The Office of Sustainability (OoS) was created in July 2024 to institutionalize climate actions across all City departments. Cambridge’s first Chief Climate Officer began work in October 2024. The OoS is built on nearly two decades of efforts by multiple departments to reduce Cambridge's reliance on fossil fuels and prepare for extreme weather.

The Police Department is required by statute (M.G.L. c. 41, s 98F) to keep a public log of police responses and arrests. The Cambridge Arts Council and Gallery 344 are located in the renovated City Hall Annex at 344 Broadway. We welcome everyone to visit our space and to view the large-scale wall paintings created by Mike Glier for the Annex. We also invite you to view current and future projects at Gallery 344 attend our public events. The objective of the programming at Gallery 344 is to explore and advance the role of art in public life. We involve local, regional, and national artists in exhibitions and educational programming that engage our audience throughout the City and beyond.

Cambridge City Manager Richard C. Rossi describes the rewards of serving on City of Cambridge Boards and Commissions. Included is a list of characteristics that influence selection for appointments to the city's boards and commissions.

The goal of this Committee is to work with City staff to develop recommendations on how the City can better assist BIPOC-owned businesses. The Committee will be a sounding board for ideas on strengthening the City’s outreach efforts, information-sharing, business programs and policies, and overall relationship with local BIPOC-owned businesses.

The purpose of the study is to better understand the unmet need in Cambridge by fully examining the demand for afterschool seats and the current capacity to meet that demand.
