Transit Advisory Committee Vacancy
The Transit Advisory Committee provides advice to city staff on city and state projects related to transit. The Committee gives advice and input to the city on how to improve and promote public transportation. This includes the transit services of the MBTA, EZRide, and other shuttles in the city.

Corcoran Park AHO Community Meeting
The CHA is starting the zoning and permitting process for the Modernization of Corcoran Park under the City’s new Affordable Housing Overlay (AHO). This process follows a series of resident meetings, door knocking at Corcoran Park and abutting properties, phone and text outreach to Corcoran Park residents, and August poster sessions open to the neighborhood. Significant Drought Conditions and Water Use Restrictions In Effect in Cambridge
The Cambridge Water Department (CWD) would like to inform the Cambridge community about the latest water drought status. In mid-January, the Secretary of the Commonwealth’s Energy and Environmental Affairs (EEA) elevated the Cambridge and Northeast region drought level status to Level 2 (Significant Drought). All nonessential outdoor water use is currently prohibited.
CPR Class for Parents and Caregivers (Valente)
This CPR class will cover life-saving skills for infants, children and adults. We will use multi-media and hands-on practice to be sure students acquire skills and confidence to assist in a life-saving medical situation. This class will also cover training and the use of AED (Automated External Defibrillator) for all ages, along with life-saving skills in choking situations. Students will receive their certificate upon completion of class. Please note that the City is not responsible for the content or training equipment. Space is limited (25 adults), registration is required. Note for CONFIRMED registrants: Your spot is held until the program start time. Once the program begins, we will fill in open spots from a day-of waiting list until the program reaches capacity. Funding for this program has been generously provided by the Cambridge Public Library Foundation.
Youth Graphic Novel Design Session 1/3 (Valente)
Visually capture your own story in a short graphic novel format from story planning to character development and illustration. All materials are provided and no prior art experience is needed! Registration is required, and registering for the first session 8/4 includes the following sessions on Tuesdays, 4/11 and 4/18. This program is for ages 10-18. The City of Cambridge does not discriminate, including on the basis of disability.
