Planning Studies
The Community Development Departments collaborates with other City departments to conduct planning studies of varying scales, often with goals to rezone, solve a particular problem, or create documentation of a topic.
Additional Supplies for Unhoused Residents
Deliver critical supplies to unhoused residents through established programs, including items such as socks, hats, gloves, hand warmers, feminine hygiene products, and other items to assist people living in unsheltered situations.
The Hive
The Hive is a hub for STEAM learning, creativity, and community collaboration in Cambridge. It provides free, hands-on learning opportunities and technology and resources for personal projects. It serves as a hub for skill sharing and creative collaboration.
Climate Change and Air Quality
The Vehicle Trip Reduction Ordinance was enacted in 1992 in response to increasing concerns about the impact on air quality caused by driving.

Solar Assistance Program Information Session
