During the Fire Headquarters renovation, expected to be completed in 2026, firefighters will move into Station 10, a temporary fire facility located at 15 Hovey Avenue (across from Spaulding Hospital) and administration staff will relocate to 23 Bay Street.  

The program aims to highlight the success of Cambridge’s nightlife and entertainment industry.

Improve access to veterinary care for residents with financial and mobility difficulties. This proposal will provide free check-ups, vaccine clinics, pet grooming, dental care, and mobile van services for three years.

Commission on Immigrant Rights and Citizenship Meeting - CANCELLED DUE TO LACK OF QUORUM

Due to the abnormally low levels, the Secretary of the Commonwealth’s Energy and Environmental Affairs (EEA) today elevated the Northeast Region of Massachusetts, which includes Cambridge, from a Level 1- Mild Drought to a Level 3- Critical Drought.

The function of the LGBTQ+ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer) Commission is to advocate for a culture of respect and monitor progress toward equality of all persons with regard to sexual orientation and gender identity and expression, and to promote policies and practices that have a positive effect on the health, welfare, and safety of all persons who live, visit, or work in the City with respect to sexual orientation and gender identity and expression. Commissioners are expected to be knowledgeable about the rights of LGBTQ+ individuals and must live or work in Cambridge.

The Second Annual Spelling Bee with take place on Thursday, June 20 at the Main Library.

Every Monday and Wednesday beginning July 6, young people can participate in a different sport or recreational activity happening at a Summer Food park location. Come for a nutritious, free lunch; stay to play!
