The Cambridge Public Library and the African Bridge Network (ABN) are offering an AI training for people looking for jobs. This training will teach you how to use AI tools safely and effectively to help with your career. Through the workshops, participants will learn strategies to: Find better ways to look for jobs Update and customize resumes for different positions Practice and prepare for job interviews Get help dealing with common challenges in today’s job market This training is a four-part workshop series. Participants who complete all sessions may be eligible to receive a free refurbished laptop and wi-fi hotspot. Sessions will be held in-person at the Main Library (449 Broadway) on the following Saturdays: March 14, March 21, March 28 and April 4. Each session will be held from 1pm to 4pm. Space is limited. Applications will be reviewed as they are received and accepted until spots are filled or the deadline passes. Apply by March 1, 2026. Come to the library in your pajamas to listen to stories, read with your children, and enjoy a snack before bed! This program is recommended for children of all ages and their caregivers. This program will happen outside. In case of rain or bad weather it will be inside the O'Neill Branch. Pajama Story Time is presented by the Cambridge Public Library and the Center for Families.

On Tuesday, November 18 from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m., the Cambridge Department of Transportation will host the fifth Working Group Meeting for the Broadway Safety Improvement Project.

There will be significant travel impacts this weekend in Boston and Cambridge due to the Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular event.

The Working Group will help guide the design of the Grand Junction Multi-Use Path between the Charles River at the BU Bridge, and the Cambridge-Somerville city line. The group will advise Cambridge City Manager Louis A. DePasquale and his staff on key issues related to the planning and design for this important “Grand Junction Multi-Use Path and Conceptual Transit Design” project.

Have you ever wanted to design your own custom nail set? Well come to the Library and dive into the world of nail art. Local licensed nail tech, Munah of Fine Geh Glam, will guide you in this fun and creative art class. You will learn about proper nail care and treatments and leave with a one-of-a-kind nail set of your own. All supplies will be provided by the Library.
