NOTICE: The Assessing Department will be open to members of the public, by appointment only, Tuesday and Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Appointments are available for residential exemptions, personal exemptions, excise tax abatements, and other services. Appointments can be made online, by phone at 617-349-4343 or by email at assessors@cambridgema.gov.

Clause 41A Tax Deferral and Recovery Agreement

First time applicants for the Tax Deferral (Clause 41A) will be required to complete and submit both the Tax Deferral Application and the Tax Deferral and Recovery Agreement with any additional required documentation. If the applicant desires to file for tax deferral in future years, and the original deferral remains outstanding, he/she will only be required to file the Tax Deferral Application.
