Curbside Collections

Public Works

Trash and Compost collection are 1 day behind schedule for the remainder of the week. Recycling is on schedule.

About Curbside Collections

The City provides weekly curbside pickup of household trash, recycling, and compost. Yard waste is collected April 1 through the second full week of December. The City is divided into five districts, to provide these services throughout the City on a five-day week, Monday through Friday. Curbside collection is always one day behind schedule following a holiday. Use the tool below to find your collection schedule, search for how to dispose of items, play a waste sorting game or retrieve your street sweeping schedule.

If your curbside collection was missed, please submit a report at Cambridgema.gov/311.

To request recycling carts, compost supplies, flyers and other items visit CambridgeMA.Gov/RecycleSupplies.
