Description

On Thursday, January 19, Mike O’Dowd, Project Director for I-90 Interstate Improvements will present proposed work to the Cambridge community at the Central Square Library (45 Pearl St.) at 7pm. Reconstruction of I-90 is scheduled to begin in 2019 and will continue for 4 or 5 years, dramatically impacting neighborhoods on both sides of the river both during construction and afterwards. Along with sharing the current plan, O’Dowd will address the following neighborhood concerns: traffic patterns, noise abatement, and easy access for Cambridge residents on and off the Pike.

This presentation will be part of the Cambridgeport Neighborhood Association’s annual meeting. A quick election of two board members will precede the MassDOT presentation. Neighbors are welcome to mix and mingle from 6:30-7pm, prior to the meeting. All are welcome. In case of snow, this meeting will be postponed to Thursday, Jan. 26 at 7pm at the Central Sq. Library. Check for snowdate plans the day of the event at cportneighbors@yahoogroups.com.
