Terry's work is widely taught and anthologized around the world. A member of the American Academy of Arts and Letters, she is currently the Writer-in-Residence at the Harvard Divinity School and divides her time between Cambridge, Massachusetts and Castle Valley, Utah.

Living On Earth is a weekly hour-long environmental radio program, which broadcasts nationally from roughly 250 stations. The show features news, interviews, and commentary on the natural world and ecological issues. Topics include climate change, biodiversity, emerging science, and sustainable agriculture.
