On Tuesday, March 7 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., we will hold a second community meeting to discuss safety improvements to Hampshire Street between Inman Square and Broadway, along with one block of Broadway from Portland St to Hampshire St.

About the Meeting

At the meeting, we will:

  • Share two different design alternatives for Hampshire St.
  • Share designs for installing separated bike lanes on one block of Broadway, between Portland St and Hampshire St.
  • Discuss planned changes to parking regulations.
  • Review changes to bus stop locations and improvements to transit operations.
  • Discuss planned improvements at existing crosswalks to improve pedestrian safety.

The goal of this meeting is to share updates and receive feedback. All meeting materials will be posted online within two weeks, including:

  • Presentation slides
  • Full video recording of the presentation and question and answer session
  • PDF documents of both concepts

We will continue to welcome comment and feedback following the meeting.
