A series of 30 minute talks from local authors focused on the craft of writing. All events are free and open to everyone.

Whitney Scharer on “Historic Fiction”

Whitney Scharer is a writer who lives in Arlington. She is the recipient of a St. Botolph Emerging Artists Award, a Somerville Arts Council Artists grant, and fellowships from the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts and the University of Washington, where she received her MFA. Her writing has been published in the Bellevue Literary Review, Cimarron Review, Mare Nostrum, and elsewhere. She is at work on her first novel.
