Summer Reading: Jay Mankita's Playful Engineers

Playful Engineers teaching artist Jay Mankita presents a class for kids and families on building Rube Goldberg Machines and other chain reactions at home, using your own toys, household materials, and whatever other stuff your kids can find. The whole family is encouraged to join in on the fun.You may want to find out more about Jay and his work. There are a number of Rube Goldberg tutorials and videos on his website here: and here:

We invite children and their grownups to join us from home for a live program presented on Zoom.

Register below. Zoom link will be emailed to registrants one hour before the program begins.

Virtual Summer Reading Programs are free and open to the public and are not recorded. If you register but later find you cannot attend, please remember to cancel your registration to make space for others.
