Description

Cambridge GLBT Commission and Cambridge YWCA are presenting a free reading with local writers who will share their stories from this brand new anthology edited by Carter Sickels. Refreshments will be served from 6:30-7 p.m. and the program will begin at 7 p.m.

A discussion will follow the readings with several New England contributors, including Cambridge's own Meg Stone (contributor to WBUR's Cogniscenti, Ms. and Bitch's Blogs), Penny Guisinger (Solstice Magazine, Fourth Genre) and Jackson Shultz (Transgender Portraits: An Oral History).

"With Sickels's synthesizing introduction, these sympathetic, well-informed essays show that the fight for same-sex marriage is deeply complex and only one issue in the fight for inclusiveness and equality." --Julia Jenkins, librarian and blogger.
